I work alone. Will the AI just shove every call at me?
No. You decide which calls get transferred straight to you (e.g. burst pipe, no heat in winter) and which ones the AI handles itself — booking a job or taking a quote enquiry without disturbing you.
Can it give pricing over the phone?
Only what you tell it to. Most trades give a call-out fee and an hourly rate; we script that exactly. For full quotes the AI captures the job details and tells the caller you’ll come back with a price.
What if the caller wants a specific date?
It checks your live calendar and offers actual slots, not vague promises. The postcode is included in the booking so you can plan a sensible day.
Will it work with my number?
Yes. We give you a UK number to publish, or we set up call forwarding so the AI only answers when you don’t pick up after a few rings.
What about Sunday-night emergencies?
