How does it handle conflicts checks?
The AI captures the caller’s name, the opposing party (where relevant) and the matter type, then flags it for your team to clear before any consultation is confirmed. It does not give an open-ended yes.
Will it give legal information or advice?
No. By design. The AI is scripted to acknowledge the enquiry, capture details, and book a fee-earner call. Any pressure to give “just a quick answer” is politely refused.
Is it secure enough for legal data?
Calls are processed under UK GDPR with recordings and transcripts stored in UK / EU data centres. SRA-aligned retention and deletion policies are supported. We can sign a DPA on request.
Can it handle 999-style duty-solicitor calls?
Yes — out-of-hours duty calls follow a separate route. The AI takes the basics, then immediately rings the on-call solicitor with a clean summary so you walk into the police station already briefed.
Does it work with our case management system?
For most major UK case-management systems we can hand new-matter records over via email summary or API. The full case file still lives in your CMS — the AI feeds it.
